Mutual Pharmacist Honored with Pharmacy Care Award

Congratuations are in order for Heather Allison Greene, PharmD of Riverside Pace Pharmacy-Manchester in Richmond, VA.

Eisai recently announced that in 2009 they had awarded the Pharmacy Care Award to Greene for her “extraordinary impact on the lives of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.”

Jean Kitchen discusses Meducation

Owner of Almand’s Drug in Rocky Mount, Jean Kitchen sits down with Dr. Charles Lee and discussed Meducation in an episode of “Tar Heel People”.

Meducation is a product designed to help pharmacists communicate to their non-English speaking customers. Meducation translates and communicates information to the customer about their prescriptions in their own native language.

The following video is 30 minutes long and broken into 4 segments. Volume will need to be adjusted for optimal hearing.
